Eligibility criteria

The following persons are eligible for the service:

persons subjected to ill-treatment, which led to social maladjustment and social deprivation;
persons who are in a difficult life situation as a result of the threat of cruel treatment and violence.

Organizations of temporary stay and residence accept individuals from among the citizens of Kazakhstan, as well as foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in the territory of Kazakhstan, as well as persons who do not have identity documents if they are recognized as victims of domestic violence.

— What documents do I need to provide?

Identification document, which is not mandatory in the case of victims of domestic violence.

— How to apply for emergency housing?

By physically coming to the emergency housing and submitting an application form.

— How long can I stay in the shelter?

Temporary stay and residence organizations accept recipients of services on a contractual basis.

The term of the contract is six months. The contract extension is carried out if the recipient of services is on inpatient treatment in a medical organization, but not more than three months.
