We have collected instructions, recommendations and contacts, which can help you in the chosen country and situation
The Protections for Persons Reporting Child Abuse Act 1998 protects an individual if they report suspected child abuse to designated officers of Tusla, the Health Service Executive, or the police as long as the report is made in good faith and is not malicious
Note that the Criminal Justice (Withholding of Information on Offences Against Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 provides that it is a criminal offence to withhold information about sexual offence against a person under 18 years or a vulnerable person
When compiling the instructions, we relied on the help of volunteers and lawyers from different countries. If something went wrong – the organization didn’t respond to you, you found a bug or the instructions weren’t precise enough – tell us about it. Email us at: help@labirint.online
