We have collected instructions, recommendations and contacts, which can help you in the chosen country and situation
Generally, all of the NGOs listed before will help the young and elderly alike.
There are specific NGOs concerned with helping elderly women (or elderly people generally) – Age Action (tel: (01) 475 6989, email: helpline@ageaction.ie) – but Age Action for any instances of abuse will refer to the national health system Health Service Executive’s (HSE) helpline: HSE helpline on 1850 24 1850 (Monday to Saturday – 8 am to 8 pm).
Sage Advocacy provides a helpline for elderly support in a broader context, which may involve reporting, preventing, countering, and recovering from elder abuse (tel: (01) 536 7330, email: info@sageadvocacy.ie).
When compiling the instructions, we relied on the help of volunteers and lawyers from different countries. If something went wrong — the organization didn’t respond to you, you found a bug or the instructions weren’t precise enough — tell us about it. Email us at: help@labirint.online
